The Headwaters Center, located in downtown Winter Park, Colorado is a non-profit hub for mountain entertainment, events, higher education, and water education. This multi-level reclaimed Civil War Era barn, now the Headwaters Center, is 28,000 sq. ft. of event, meeting, and education space – all with picturesque views of the surrounding majestic peaks. The River Journey exhibit is located on the lower level of the center, provides a comprehensive and educational overview of the importance of preserving mountain watersheds and rivers. A sustainable and water-wise landscape has been incorporated into the plan. The Headwaters Center is energy independent and disconnected from the utility “grid.”
